This piece was written as a part of the Nancy and Barry Sanders’ Composer Fellowship Program with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. It serves as a personal answer to the often asked question: “If you could live at anytime in history, when would it be?”

The Day I Feel Content was premiered in the Choral Hall at the Walt Disney Concert Hall on January 12, 2019 with Alyssa Park (violin), Timothy Loo (cello) and Louise Thomas (piano)
